About Us
Food Nuts is a group of friends who’ve been traveling, eating, and having a great time around the world for the past few years. We’re interested in food, wine, fun, friendship and sharing our experiences.
We are most definitely not food elitists (we like bacon in all it’s wondrous forms), we aren’t wine snobs (we love a good bargain) and we’re certainly not stuck-up-sticky-beaks.
We love to laugh. Especially at ourselves.
Most of us live in the Santa Clarita Valley of Southern California. However, one of us lives in Irvine, one in Jacksonville, FL, one has a farm in Oregon, and our newest addition, the Chief Correspondent from our Bacon Bureau, hails from Chicago.

And no, we don’t have a secret handshake; you just need to want to share your food or other experiences with the world.
Note: Just like our foodie get-togethers, politics and religion are not something we talk about at this site, unless they are an integral part of the story/recipe/event (and we keep it nice).

That doesn’t mean we’ll change your posts — just that we will strive to keep the site copyright compatible, and the spelling and punctuation errors to a minimum. 
About our ads: This site costs money to maintain. We have added advertising to the site to try to offset that cost. However, be assured that the results (due to our relatively low traffic, since we’re pretty new) haven’t come close to meeting our costs. This site is NOT designed to make money, but it would be great if it broke even. Hence the small amount of commercialization. We try to choose things to advertise that would be of use or interest to our readers; if you find something offensive, or not up to the quality of product or service that you would expect, PLEASE let us know so that we can find other things to offer our readers.
