This was one heck of a memorable meal. I think letting the meat rest is essential to having tender, juicy sandwiches. It is incredibly easy to make too for something so tasty. I cooked the beef and it rested on the drive over to Louise's. Fresh rolls from La Brea bakery via Costco are also a must. We had talked that we could've converted this to a french dip sandwich by putting the onions from the soup on the sandwich and using the soup broth as a dip. An absolutely delicious time was had by all!
